Hi, my name is Aarti Mathur. As an endocrine surgeon, I care for patients with thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disease. I became interested in endocrine surgery when I have the unique opportunity to spend several years at the National Cancer Institute. This really allowed me to understand and appreciate the comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and personalized care that every person who needs endocrine surgery really deserves. My clinical interests are thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, hyperparathyroidism and adrenal nodules. My research focuses on improving outcomes after endocrine surgery, especially after thyroidectomy and improving the quality of the care that we deliver.
